Getting to Melbourne

Whether you're travelling interstate or from overseas, Victoria has a multitude of transport options to get you here – by air, bus, train, car or boat. You'll generally arrive directly in the centre of Melbourne, or if you arrive by air you can simply jump on a shuttle bus service into town.

Only 25 minutes from Melbourne’s international airport, your short trip into the city centre is quick and easy with options ranging from dedicated Skybus (running express between the Melbourne Airport and Melbourne’s city centre, 24 hours a day, seven days a week) to individual passenger services. The airport accommodates a vast airline network with many direct flights and 24/7 operations and services, offering maximum flexibility for delegates.

Once in the city, you’ll come to appreciate Melbourne’s grid layout which makes it one of the most convenient cities in the world to navigate. All amenities are within walking distance, making it ideal to explore the city on foot. Alternatively, the extensive public transport network offers trams, trains, buses and taxis providing ample options for those wishing to explore the city landmarks, culture, food and wine and events.

The Round is located at 379-399 Whitehorse Rd, Nunawading VIC 3131. You will find us just behind the Civic Centre. The Round is 1 hour from Melbourne’s international airport.

The Round is well-connected by public transport, offering convenient options for patrons travelling to a show. 

Getting to The Round by Road

The Round is easily accessible by road, with several major roads and highways leading to the area. Here are the primary road routes to consider:

M3 Freeway is a major freeway that runs directly to Whitehorse, connecting to The Round via Springvale Road and Whitehorse Road/Maroondah Hwy.

Burwood Highway is a prominent highway that provides access to The Round, connecting via Springvale Road and Whitehorse Road.

Public Transport

Public Transport Victoria provides a journey planner tool to assist visitors not familiar with public transport in Victoria.

Here are the major public transport methods to consider: 

Bus: McCulloch St/Whitehorse Rd on the 901 route is the closest bus station to The Round, only a short walk from the bus stop to the venue. The nearby Nunawading Station can also be accessed by the 273, 902 and 735 routes.  

Train: The Round is connected by nearby Belgrave and Lilydale line train stations. The closest train stations are Nunawading Station and Mitcham Station, which are approximately 1km or a 10-minute walk from The Round. Alternatively, you can take a taxi, ride-sharing service, or catch a connecting bus to The Round. 

The Round advises checking for changes to schedules, routes, or disruptions of services before taking public transport.
